Ted's Whim DV #1

SourceDir: NJWeb-Keeper-Hard.txt
Author1: Ted Sannella
Author2: Dave Notman
Level: Intermediate-Advanced
QT: Improper

A1: (8)  Long Lines Forward & Back
    (8)  Pass Through + Cloverleaf Turn Single {1}
A2: (8)  Neighbor Swing
    (8)  Promenade Across
B1: (8)  {Same Four} Circle Left 1x
    (8)  Star Left 1x {2}
B2: (8)  {Same two Ladies} Ladies Chain
    (8)  Ladies Chain

CallingNotes: {1} For gender free teaching, walk through the turn single
  in stages - pass through face out, turn back to neighbor (giving them a
  longing glance as you turn away), then all continue turning to face
  partners across the set, then all continue turning to face that same
  neighbor. Don't forget to flirt with your former neighbor as you pass
  them by! The men turn single to the right, and the ladies to the
  left. {2} If the two ladies assist each other into a short CCW spin
  with a push through their joined left hands, this transition from star
  to chain can be really fun!

NotesOther: I like this a bit better than Ted's original. The Cloverleaf
  works better than a simple U-turn, and the promenade is easier than an
  RL after the swing. Still have a swing that doesn't end on a phrase
  boundry.  See also "Dave's Whim".

Could still be taught in a gender free way if ladies are identified as
  "those facing in".
