CallingNotes: {1} To teach the roll to a wave, have ladies step forward,
join left hands, and then allemande left 1/4. Then men take right
hands with their neighbor to form a wavy line across. The wave should
read (caller left to right) M1(dn)-F2(up)-F1(dn)-M2(up). Now have
dancers go back to the initial ring, and this time, ladies get to that
wave by spinning CCW (as they would in a roll-away). Instead of
spinning past their partner, to trade places, the ladies spin past EACH
OTHER to trade places. Meanwhile, the men can spin CW 3/4 to get into
position for the wave. {2} After the allemande, ladies should be
facing in and men should be facing out. Ladies are looking at
partner's back side. {3} Box Circulate = ladies cross + men loop
right. {4} After the swing, everyone should be back home. {5} I like
to circle 3/4 and then roll my neighbor on the side, and then shorten
the second circle to 1/4. The overall length of the dance is the same,
but dancers have to accept the more fluid timing. Also, rather than
the Tug & Catch style of roll, it helps to do 1/2 2-hand turns. That
ensures that the rolls are tight and the ladies don't crash.

NotesOther: Created while trying to fix a dance from CH. Folk processing
busy at work!! Formerly "Du Quion Races DV #1" - letter reversal in
