CallingNotes: {1} Best not even to say "Petronella" here, because it will
greatly confuse dancers. In a conventional petronella spin, each
dancer moves one place CCW around the circle, while spinning CW. This
is completely different. Teach it as follows:

At the end of the 1/2 hey (a conventional 1/2 hey), have ladies face in
and have men turn their backs to their neighbor so that they face up or
down. Ladies look left - ladies are going to move to where your
neighbor is now standing by spinning over your LEFT shoulder. Ladies
will end that spin facing in. Men look off to your right - you are
going to move across the set to where your partner is now standing, by
spinning over your RIGHT shoulder. Men will end the spin facing out.
Everyone will then be able to take right hands with your partner and
  form long wavy lines.

NotesOther: Inspired by David Mandelberg's "Spin the Moves". No neighbor
swing, but that the rest of it works in a minor miracle <grin>.
